Our mission is to allow young women of color to engage in fellowship as they begin their journey into womanhood. We encourage, lead and set examples for young women of color in order to develop strong leaders with confidence, morals, direction and purpose. We work towards the enlightenment of these young women and the courage to build themselves and their communities.
Programs
Butterfly Wings Program- This program is for 4th grade girls who are aspiring to be a part of the BEAUTI program. They participate in a few of BEAUTI activities and prepare themselves for expectations to come.
My Sister’s Keeper Program- Big sister, little sister program. Eighth grade BEAUTI girls will be paired with sixth grade BEAUTI girls and seventh grade BEAUTI girls will be paired up with fifth grade BEAUTI girls. This allows the older girls to take responsibility and mentor younger girls within their community and the younger girls to have an older role model to look up to and go to for help or advice.
Soaring Angels Program- Our former BEAUTI girls who have graduated and are now in High School, come back to mentor the 5th – 8th grade girls. These girls are giving back to their communities as well as receiving continuous support from their BEAUTI family as they continue their journey into womanhood in high school.
Bookworm Program- After school tutorials for girls that are struggling with subjects, need extra help and/or need a place to complete homework and projects for class. This tutorial is once a week.
